Comprehensive Total Control 6-Step Plan

Our comprehensive, total control, 6-step lawn care program is the foundation for any lawn. This program offers five properly timed applications of fertilizer and one application of lime in the Fall, delivering a beautiful lawn right to your doorstep. In the event you have questions or issues we are proud to offer free service calls as part of our 6-step lawn care program. 1) Early Spring Application: A balanced dry granular fertilizer and pre- emergent Crabgrass control. Weather permitting we will also begin spot treating for broadleaf weeds. 2) Late Spring Application: A balanced dry granular fertilizer, second application of pre-emergent Crabgrass control (weather permitting), and a broadleaf weed control to eliminate any of the weeds that may be a problem presently in the lawn. This application may be combined with our preventative grub-control application if included in your program. 3) Early Summer Application: An application of controlled release dry granular fertilizer with supplemental Iron and weed control formulated for summer weather conditions. We will also begin spot treating for Yellow Nutsedge along with applying a treatment for surface feeding insects. This application may be combined with our preventative grub-control application if included in your program. 4) Late Summer Application: An application of controlled release dry granular fertilizer with supplemental Iron and weed control formulated for summer weather conditions. We will also continue treating for Yellow Nutsedge and apply a post-emergent for Crabgrass if present. 5) Lime Application: Our heavy, clay soils need lime applied on a regular basis to maintain the soil pH. Calcitic Lime is applied and releases nutrients trapped in acidic soils as it moves down through the root zone of turf. This stimulates more vigorous root growth, increases the impact of future feedings, discourages many weeds, and results in a higher quality lawn overall. 6) Fall Application: A balanced dry granular fertilizer compromised of a high Nitrogen rate that will help restore optimum color and promote new growth to your lawn after the harsh summer months. We will also apply broadleaf weed control that will eliminate any weeds that may be trying to take hold.
